Not yet, I plan on buying the entire series together through Barnes and Noble. Only problem is that the set comes out in October!! Ahhhh! I guess I'll just have to be patient! EDIT: Gave in and just purchased the entire series sans the Collectors Saga Edition. I'm going to buy those too though when they come out next month Can't waittt.

I flicked through one of the books a few days ago and it just seemed really awful, just like bad fan fiction to me. But, I think I'll buy the first one and just force myself to read the whole thing to see what all the fuss is about.

I'm not even interested in the series, but my best friend loves them.

lol Amy, Twilight is a drug. Just say no.
The fuss: A teenaged girl with very low self esteem - who has never had a boyfriend before - falls madly and deeply (and quickly) in love with a manic depressive vampire (who has also never had a girlfriend before), and the series is basically, "I love you, I don't want to leave you," "No don't leave me!" "I won't, I won't."
The side couples helped me through it. (Alice/Jasper, Rosalie/Emmett.) I'm a die hard Edward/Victoria shipper, though. And Jacob/...somebody. I would say Bella, but I cannot stand her.Jacob's too good for her.

I agree with u about Jacob tho...Bella didn't really do anything to deserve him. I don't think they were right for eachother anyway.-I liked them better as friends.

Victoria can actually take CARE of herself, though.
And think about it. If none of the others had ever met Carlisle and had been bitten by another vampire, they would be just as horrible as Victoria and James. It all depends on the chances you've been given. Carlisle was a kind and caring man, so his "children" grew to be that way as well. Victoria did not have a Carlisle. She got James.
I happen to quite like Victoria, psychotic tendencies aside.

I'm glad there are Twilight books because the movie just.... blows.
Anywayzzzz.... I liked twilight (just read it recently) well enough but breaking dawn left much to be desired imo... it was kind of... drab, for me... Well I guess that means one less complete obsession for me which might actually be a good thing ;D

Did anybody see the movie yet? I wanted to see it, but I changed my mind when I heard there are some sexual scenes with Bella and that vampire guy. Honestly, I think the book is way better than the movie. I'm sure you guys think that too.

Could contain spoilers so read at own risk!I went to see it... Well the movie in itself I guesssssssssss.... could be termed decent.... for those who have not read the book BUT: 1.- I wonder just WHO chose the Make up artist designer.... they all looked like they had a bag of flour dumped on their heads... Edward (Robert Pattinson) was constantly BLUSHING!!!!!!!! C'mon.... Carlisle looked like Jhonny bravo... 2.- I PERSONALLY AND INDIVIDUALLY do not like the girl who was chosen to play Rosalie, she's supposed to be the most beautiful out of all of them and she's just not, I mean ok so she's not stick thin, kudos for that, but she's by no means the kind of beauty described in the books (not to mention the roots in her hair and the michael jakson eyeliner....) Esme isn't too great either but still better. On this topic to each their own. 3.- The whole emotional turmoil Edward goes through was wiped off, it was turned into a teenage version of the Vampire Chronicles in my opinion, all the focus was on the fact that he is a vampire and that he sucks blood... Also no sex scenes in the movie at all, and some inconsistencies with the plot (minor stuff really but for book die hard fans pretty noticeable) Edit: also what's with the "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" tree jumping... *speechless*. Finally it is my belief that whomever hasn't read the won't understand completely all that goes on. (Does it show that I'm hugely disappointed? ) XD

It's not really BAD more.... not accurate. I think they went too far with the "Oh we're low budget, sorry!"
