I'm interested in any information that people might have as well. I'm going to probably go to Cambridge Summer School this summer, but I haven't decided where I'm going to apply to go a whole semester or year. Any tips for decent schools that aren't impossible to get in to in England, Australia or France would be quite helpful. I don't know if anyone here is from those countries. Hey, if you like London, I don't see why you shouldn't go somewhere in London though. If your interested in something shorter than a whole semester or just something fun and valuable, Cambridge Summer School has all kinds of sections depending on interests. There's even a more general one. It's probably less expensive than a whole semester abroad too.

haha, I dunno why you are coming here, its not all rolling hills and old buildings.
It's great though, I would reccomend if your were seriously thinking about moving here, maybe a boarding school to get a real feel of England, I go to an all girls school, it's expensive but I've got good grades out of it.
I mean you could even be an exchange students.
But if your only here for a few month, I don't think many schools will accept, because of the fees, and all the legal stuff. I think it would be great if you came though, it would be a really valuable lesson. I want to go to an American school. It's funny how we always want what we havent got.

Double the price of the American dollar =\ WAY too expensive. haha, I dunno why you are coming here, its not all rolling hills and old buildings. I can't go to a boarding school, I'm done with that kinda school

Well, I'm from England but I wanna go to uni in San Diego instead of somewhere in the UK. I suggest that you try for Wolverhampton University. It's renowned for being easy to get into but it still has a good success rate and I know a lot of rich people who went there with not much money and ended up rich as anything in their lifetime. Also it's very cheap I believe because it's not by London (it's near to Birmingham). www.wlv.ac.uk/default.aspx?page=0

I think it depends on what you want to study, a lot of university's are known for having really good specific departments

yea i think so too.....i also was told by someone that being from America, it might be hard to understand the people in Newcastle...supposidly they have a very "thick" accent. Is that true? (Sorry! I'm from NY! I have no idea lol!)

Quite possibly, depending on how long you're there and/or if you plan to stay there. A lot of people from foreign countries take speech classes to help them adopt the accent of the country they're living in and/or lose the accent from their own country so that they fit in better.
