Hey everyone , Gina here! I am about to enter the deadly trap of High School's drama and stress. I'll be there in exactly 10 days and am partly scared but also excited . Can anyone shed some light on this teenage highlight and horror? Any tips on how to get prepared and stay alive? Give me as much as possible because at the moment...I NOT READY FOR IT!

Haha...I dont get what the big deal is about High School. I really enjoyed it. Just make sure you dont get in with the bad crowd and dont do things just to be cool, its better to be safe and not do anything illegal than to be cool. well in my opinion.
I am not very good with advice...haha XD

Well, it depends, I guess. As Arika says, she enjoys it. All High Schools have different dynamics so, it will depend.

Yeah, the best thing is to just always be yourself and not give a toss about doing things to look cool. Oh and get good grades, no one ever believes it but they really do help you after high school and you can also see the value in them after hs as well.

Heh, high school was a breeze for me. I think middle school's so much worse... all the kids in those grades think that cliques and stupid stuff like that is what makes you cool, and that pretty much drops once you get older, wake up, and smell the coffee. Just focus on your studies and you should be fine.

I was just gonna say be yourself and yadda yadda but everyone got there before me, lol. Make sure you stay focused on your grades and don't stop just because a lot of people think that's "cool." I'm sure you'll be fine.

yeah um....don't screw yourself by failing classes and having poor attendence. here's what you don't wan't to happen: You don't want to be a few months from graduation and realize you have a butt load of credits to make up and even if you do make them up....you have little hope for getting into a college, unless it's community college. Basically you don't want to get to the end realizing you screwed yourself.
As for all the other stuff about highschool....
Do what you know is right. You don't have to get wrapped up in anything negative i.e. bad influences if you don't want to.
Oh and, people who may be really petty and trying to mess with you or make fun of you or anything like that are SO STUPID! They DON'T MATTER and you should just write them off. I wish instead of trying to come up with a comeback for those people I would have just said "you're really pathetic and I feel sorry for you" or something.
And to reinforce:
FAILING CLASSES IS NOT WORTH IT! IT'S SO MUCH EASIER TO PASS THEM THE FIRST TIME! IT'S SELF EXPLANITORY BUT I DIDN'T GET IT AND CAUSED MYSELF SOO MUCH EXTRA PROBLEMS.
Whew! I should be a guidance counselor or something. *would never do that*

I was really nervous on my first day of High School. Afterwards when I got use to it, I enjoyed it for most of the time. I developed strong friendships, had fun experiences, learnt a lot and I learnt a lot about myself. So it may be nerve wracking at first but you may come to like it. It also helps if you have friends who are going to the same high school as you.
