Anybody know what to do when a sinus infection renders you half deaf? I can't hear out of my left ear and it's driving me ballistic.
And I mean besides taking meds and holding my head above steaming water.
Please answer only if you know what to do. I don't want ten pages of "I don't know" replies.

Try drinking lots of water and eat foods high in antioxidants and vitamin C.

What kinds of foods are those? I know my source of vitamin C (oranges/orange juice) isn't in the house right now, nor did my mother buy any even though I asked her to, but what has a lot of vitamin c and antioxidants?

And we just HAD some carrots too! I wonder if my mom's going anywhere tomorrow.
I don't know why I'm always sick. Whenever we have them, I live off carrots and orange juice

lol Nothing. My only meal, pretty much, is school lunch, which is usually chicken or a salad, juice, and maybe a fruit snack if I have anything left over. I don't have time to eat breakfast (or money to get it at school), and my parents are in this annoying habit of making foods I don't like, therefore creating Laura Fends For Herself Night.
But I eat bread. Bread is good. Bread and butter, tuna on toast, plain bread. Cheese. Apples, if we have any. Bananas, if we have any. Those apple breakfast bars that come in the green package (I dunno the brand), Quaker Chewies, a lot of turkey tv dinners....
That's about it, honestly.

I had sinusitis, but erm, try plugging both ears then, yawning? Does that work?

And don't blow your nose too hard, the pressure will hurt your eardrums and blow out of one nostril at a time.
Is there not maybe a nurse at your school?

Is there not maybe a nurse at your school? There is, but she's only allowed to give Tylenol, call my mother, and tell her to take me to a doctor
