Just after christmas I decided I want to earn a bit more money and thought about getting a job. I am 15 years old though, I don't know what restrictions are as to what I can do. Would I be able to work in a clothes shop? I know that it is different in the UK to other countries but any advice would be very welcome!!!

I live in the US, but the UK should have some of the same restrictions as the US does. Here, if you're under eighteen, you can't work after a certain time (I think it's ten or eleven at night) and you can't work more than a certain number of hours (I think it was eight.) Part-times jobs are pretty easy to get. Most teenagers get them at restaurants or diners; it's a little harder to be working in a store, though; most stores want someone older, especially for behind the register. Supermarkets will hire teenagers to be cashiers, clean, stock shelves, etc. I hope that helps.
