That's very interesting. But wouldn't that mean that nobody'd ever be able to wear blue clothing for bluescreen scenes? I mean, I'm sure I've seen someone wear blue for a bluescreen bit before... *trails off in thought*

I think it depends on the shade of blue. One of my friends was on a tv show they broadcast here and they used bluescreen for when they wanted to do a show somewhere but couldn't actually get there. *wonders if that made sense* Well, each kid (there are five on the main cast) has a different colour shirt - one is blue, red, yellow, purple, and green. And since they use both blue and greenscreens, they had to make the blue and green shirts darker than the screens behind them so they don't blend in. Also, we do a show called 411 every Friday and they use bluescreen for the background for the announcements. As long as the shirt is darker than the screen, it will still show up (but it does require some minor computer enhancement to look real.)
They say that about red shirts too, that you can't wear them or the camera won't pick it up. Again, depends on the shade

Ali T, i see you have a picture in your siggy of Emma in a blue dress. And yeah I know that is how the book went but see, they couldn't make her dress blue becuase there was a blue screen behind her when she came down the steps. So basically, if she had a blue dress, all you would see is her body. The dress would blend in. (I know this from standing infront of the blue screen whereing a blue shirt and blending in. Somewhat cool, actuallly.) It wasn't meant to offend anyone, it was a joke. I'm sorry!

I don't have any problem with how Emma/Hermione looked at the Yule Ball, she was gorgeous. But I've seen manips, where people have made the dress blue and I thought she looked even better. And I thought that the avi was funny, because not only was it pretty, but it seemed like a very Hermione-ish thing, if Emma had done that, go back and read the book and buy a blue dress and then come down the stairs.

Em: Yes----I was... Dan: So? Em: Okay? Dan: *happy* Great! I'll see you later. *winks at her* Em: *what did I just agree to? ?*

Yeah...When they made Narnia they used green. But then again, what if the CGI catches on her dress cause of the colour? Huahaha that would actualy be cool! *starts imagining Emma with torches and arches patterned on her dress..*

I think they should have used green screen like Kllgy said. THEN she could have worn the blue dress. Asshat WB... *notices how no one reads her posts* As I've said, Emma could've very easily worn blue. The shade of her dress just needed to be darker than the bluescreen and it would've been just fine.
