It's probably just that there are SO many remakes of A Christmas Carol. I've seen too many to count.
(Personally, I prefer the Disney and Muppets versions. *Cough*)

Haha yea, and this one is old and they don't ever show it on TV. I dont even know how we got the tape. Ha ha. I have actually never seen the muppet one XD

I don't think I've seen that version Arika (Albert Finney rocks though - he & Audrey Hepburn had an ~affair~ ;D), but I grew up on the Muppets version and have vague memories of the Mickey Mouse version as well. I do love that story. Oooh and I'm gonna see the original Miracle on 34th Street soon

It varies, but I can't afford anything, really, how about that? And OMG I'm stressed out suddenly... it's so close to Xmas and I haven't watched any of the Christmas cartoons like Rudolph or Frosty and it just doesn't feeeel like Christmas yet. :/
