So guys can you tell me the most important differences between Paris and London? I'm sure if you live in Europe you 've definitely been there

is it true that the entrance fee to castles in England is about 150 euros? I was really shocked when I heard that. Oh and what sights should I definitely visit?

Dina! Question for you since you are so informative! *karmas for your wonderful information!* I am seriously thinking about moving to Oxfordshire after I graduate. How do you think the transition from the United States to there would be? *sighs* Okay, maybe that wording is confusing. Do you think, me being from the US, do you think it would be difficult for me to get used to living in the UK? Or not really?

Agreed ^^ I have never met a Russian person, but I would love to do so. I really want to learn Russian but apparently it is very complicated. If you ever visit Britain, there aren't many people who are rude about culture if they are just ignore them and show them your a better person But you will probably won't come across any people like that.

i hope... i askedbecause i've come across such people on the net... and remembered Madonna at her concert in Moscow when she was pouring herself with vodka... apparently she thinks we only drink vodka here... But you are right normal people wouldn't think that. By the way everyone in Paris was really nice to us and almost everyone knew how to say thank you in russian to my mom( she doesn't speak english). Yeah, russian is really complicated and it's one of the hardest subjects in schools even for us.

Aww thanks Elle, it would depend a lot on what sort of personality you have. I'm sure that if you just arrive open-minded you'll quickly pick up the new culture, and make lots of friends! I'm not English myself but I've lived in the UK for 6 years and from what I can tell, they find American people really cool! I don't know what the mentality of people in the US is like, but English people are very relaxed and they like all the usual things like eating out, shopping etc. The only thing that'll take some getting used to is everything's more expensive than it is in the US, and also regional accents - there's so many and at first you'll be like, come again? Other than that I don't think you'll have a problem - go for it! = ] Thank you so much! Yeah, I have heard that probably the only thing tough would be the different regional accents. But I can understand Em, Dan and Rupie easily enough! Haha! And things are sooo expensive over there, but I think I can manage that I am sooo excited, I can't wait to graudate and be on my wayyyy...seems like forever!!! *karma!!*

People (usually Americans for some reason) think we all live in the bush, have animals (like lions and rhinos) roaming around next to us and I've often been asked if we have cities. Lol. Strange people they are. Personally I prefer London over Paris but I don't think I can judge fairly since I was in Paris with my school and only for three days whereas I was in London for a holiday for about 10 days. I think the major problem with both cities is just the prices of certain things in the touristy areas. You just have to remember to find places that aren't near them and you'll find decently priced things (e.g. food, drinks, movie tickets etc). I think in London you definately should go to the theatre, it's amazing!
